Kibini Hill

Kibini Hill is a must-visit gem for paragliding pilots, offering one of the most iconic flying experiences just 130 km south of Nairobi. Towering 500m above the breathtaking Maasai savanna plains, it’s a launchpad for adventure and unforgettable flights.

The site is situated on subdivided private land, so access needs to be arranged at least a day in advance. But once you’re there, you’ll be rewarded with a prime takeoff spot and endless views.

Camping at the summit is highly recommended, with panoramic vistas that include the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. What makes Kibini truly special is its takeoff versatility—fly in any direction! Whether you’re chasing a smooth morning or evening sled ride or launching into an XC adventure with a scenic hike back, Kibini Hill delivers every time.

You can park your car at bottom and hike up, but there is a cleared  ‘4×4’ track right to the summit.
