Katelembu

Just an hour’s drive south of Nairobi, easily reached by any car, lies Katelembu—a hidden gem in Makueni County.

Its wonderful evening soaring site with an alternative takeoff 3km north of it, named Kaseve.

Katelembu is a PAK managed site, so no takeoff or landing fees for PAK members!

• Katelembu is an Evening Flying Site, usually safe from 4pm
• Practice a few sleddies to the landing field before going on longer flights
• Good ground handling skills are required for fun takeoffs
